Where?
Saint Peter’s Abbey was founded at the end of the 7th century by Saint Amandus. It began as a Benedictine monastery and evolved over the centuries into a museum and exhibition centre.
This historic venue, with its stunning blend of medieval and baroque architecture, offers the perfect backdrop for a fantasy festival or a journey through history.
Getting there is a walk in the park. Literally: the abbey is just around the corner from the Citadelpark.
By public transport, you can take the train to Gent-Sint-Pieters Station. From there, it’s a 20 minute walk, or you can take the bus to get to the stop Heuvelpoort or Sint-Pietersplein.
While the abbey provides a captivating experience, please note that not all levels are wheelchair accessible. Contact us for more info.
